台灣犬 Formosan Mountain Dog

清代乾隆年間，詩人朱仕玠曾在《小琉球漫誌》中如此描述台灣犬：「番犬大如黃犢，吠聲殊異。剪其雙耳，以草木蒙密，且多鉤刺，欲其馳騁無掛礙也……。捕獐鹿，發示追蹤，百不失一。」

台灣犬曾被稱為高砂犬或台灣土犬，是南亞狩獵犬的後代，生性機敏，又適應台灣多變的地形，最早由原住民作為狩獵犬。

由於台灣早期對於犬種的培育觀念不足，加上曾經受到外國的殖民統治，從國外引進的犬種與台灣犬混種繁殖，逐漸將台灣犬的血緣特徵沖淡，使這個台灣代表性的犬種一度消失在歷史舞台上。台日學術團隊於1980年代在山區展開全面調查，終於追查到幾隻達一級純度的台灣犬，進而復育。2015年，世界畜犬聯盟於義大利召開全球會員國大會，通過投票承認「台灣土犬」為新興犬種之一，並正式更名為「台灣犬」。

Ｑ：什麼是熨燙刺繡？

刺繡後有背膠，可使用熨斗將刺繡燙於衣物、帆布袋、帽子......等處。使用步驟如下：

1. 取下背面固定用綠色黏土

2. 將熨燙貼放置於固定位置後，先覆蓋一層手帕厚度的布，避免刺繡及衣物因高溫受損

3. 將熨斗調至最高溫，按壓熨燙30秒以上，直至邊角完全貼合表面

4. 待熨燙刺繡冷卻後即可使用

＊不可使用蒸氣熨斗

＊勿燙印於尼龍、絲綢、防水材質、毛衣、含羽絨之衣物

＊勿讓兒童獨自操作
